AU Meme | Phil and Claire Dunphy, survivors of Oceanic 815 (@arbitrarily)

All week long I’ve been telling my girls how to act instead of showing them. But not Phil. Phil could have said, ‘Alex, relax, don’t take everything seriously’ or ‘Hayley, challenge yourself, don’t give up so easily.’ But instead of talking the talk, Phil walked the walk. And isn’t that what we’re supposed to do for the people we love? It’s definitely a challenge. But Phil made it look easy, seven feet off the ground. Turns out I’ve had my Super Dunphy all along.

Well-Deserved Recognition of the Day: Ed O’Neill was joined by TV wives Katey Sagal (Married… with Children) and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where the 65-year-old actor was finally honored with his very own star.
Speaking with the Youngstown News, O’Neill recalled nearly turning down the offer to join the Tinseltown Who’s Who. “I never liked the idea of it,” he said. “It’s bizarre — names on a sidewalk. People can spit on it. I thought it was kind of weird. But I mentioned it to my daughter, who is 11, and she said, ‘Daddy, you have to get your star. If you don’t, that means you’re crazy.’ That did it.”

“I love working with Ty Burrell so much. He can do big so fantastically, but he can do tiny and small, and I never, ever, ever know what he’s going to do next. He’s the real deal.”— Julie Bowen on her TV husband
“Julie is the best teammate I’ve ever had, and I used to be a delusional athlete. And including those days, I’ve never had a teammate who was more of a gamer.”— Ty Burrell on his TV wife
