Roman Polanski vs. Faye Dunaway
The tension between Polanski and his star boiled over in a notorious incident that the film’s cinematographer, John Alonzo, described to Biskind thus: “There was a scene where she gets in the car after seeing her daughter, and Jack is in the car waiting for her and scares the shit out of her… She kept saying to Roman, ‘Roman, I have to pee.
